NOTICE: Over the last few weeks every member of our 6-person household has been going through strep throat then the stomach flu one by one. I was the last one to get the stomach flu and am still recovering from that and a sinus infection. The timeframe for custom sites varies depending on the scope of the project, how much information is readily available when we start and how available the client is for emails and information, but is generally around 4-8 weeks. Generally the Package 1 projects are on the shorter end of that and the Package 2 projects are on the longer end of that.

While I love talking to clients, lately I've received a few emails with just "I need help with my site, please call me." We definitely understand the desire to speak to someone on the phone, unfortunately this is just not a method that works very well for this type of business for a few reasons:
- When someone "needs help with their site" it involves us providing a whole LOT of information that is not only most likely already on our website somewhere (and thus we could link you to it), but is just not able to be conveyed over the phone very well. Via emails we provide a TON of information, including links to examples, information, prices and more.
- Talking on the phone makes it difficult for us to give you all of the information you need, and be able to keep track of your project's details. Email is very valuable to us, it allows us to go back and read details about what a client wants when we are trying to work on their project. We can scroll back through emails and get or copy the info we need with much higher accurace. This works the other way around as well. When there is info you need, we email you a list and you can refer back to it at any time.
- Red Peach Designs is a home based business with three young children nearby at all times. It's virtually impossible to have a quiet conversation on the phone with a potential or existing client to discuss details about a website, so we do try to limit telephone conversations to our scheduled consultations.
This business supports our family and allows us to stay home with our children and I work very hard to keep it that way as that is what is best for us. I do apologize if email is not your preferred method of communication and if you are unable or uncomfortable work in that way, unfortunately a partnership with us might not be the best choice. We have a list of Compatible Carts here and those are the ones we work best with. If you use a cart that is not on that list, please contact us to see if we can work with yours.
Our templates WILL WORK with any other cart, blog, content management system or host. We are just not able to install it for you. Each system has a different way of installing a template, so you can try it yourself, or find someone who is familiar with your system to do it for you. To do this method, purchase the "Template Only" option and we will send you a zip file containing the template. What do I get when I order a template? TOP
- If you order the Template Only option and you DO use one of the carts listed on the Compatible Carts page, we will send you a zip file containing an HTML file of the design, the images used in the design and the style sheet as well as install the template and graphics into your shopping cart.
- If you order the Template Only option and DO NOT use one of the carts listed on the Compatible Carts page, we will send you a zip file containing an HTML file of the design, the images used in the design and the style sheet. You can use the HTML file to create your own website pages and upload to your server, or you can install it into your own shopping cart/site builder/etc.
- If you order one of our e-store packages with AlohaShop along with the template, we set up the cart and hosting for you and install the template into the cart system so it's ready to add your categories and products.
Do you offer payment plans? TOP
Our custom web design packages require 50% deposit to get started and have a specific plan to pay the remaining amount. That is the only type of payment plan that we offer at this time. |
